Appointments
To ensure prompt attention and minimize delays for our patients, orthodontic
visits are scheduled on an appointment basis. The frequency and length
of appointments vary depending on the scheduled treatment to be performed
on the scheduled day. As a general rule, appointments are scheduled
at 4-6 week intervals once orthodontic treatment is underway. Although
our office tries to schedule the majority of our school-age patients
after school or on holidays, it is necessary that some appointments
be scheduled during the school hours. We work hard to accommodate
your scheduling needs.
It is very important while undergoing orthodontic treatment that our
patients see their family dentist for regular checkups. As a service
to our patients and their dentist, we have a policy that we remove
orthodontic archwires prior to your dental cleanings. Our office will
be glad to coordinate your orthodontic appointments with your dentist
for these checkups.
If there is a time when you see you cannot make a scheduled appointment,
we kindly ask that you call 24 hours in advance so that others can
take advantage of that appointment.
